27th Annual General Meeting of Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) Held

WASHINGTON, Oct 10 (NNI): Pakistan’s Ambassador to United States Masood Khan says Pakistan is paying the highest price of climate change.
He was addressing a ceremony organised by Muslim Response USA to collect donations for the flood victims of Pakistan in Washington D.C.
The Ambassador said Pakistan accounts for 0.4 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions but it has been placed on 8th spot on the list of countries most vulnerable to climate change.
He paid tribute to the philanthropists living in USA and especially the Pakistani-American community for giving generous donations in every hour of trial.
The Ambassador urged businessmen to invest in Pakistan so that the economic process could be accelerated and job opportunities be created for the youth.
During the ceremony, renowned Pakistani broadcaster Khalid Hameed was honored with a special award in recognition of his services.
Muslim Response USA has been active in serving the suffering humanity for last many years. NNI
