ISLAMABAD, Oct 12 (NNI): A meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) under the chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial on the matter of the permanency of 13 Additional Judges of Lahore High Court (LHC) was held Wednesday.
The meeting recommended the permanent appointment of 11 out of 13 Additional Judges of LHC while discharging the remaining two.
Those who were recommended to become a permanent part of the LHC include Justice Shakeel Ahmed, Justice Safdar Saleem Shahid, Justice Ahmed Nadeem Arshad, Justice Mohammad Tariq Nadeem, Justice Mohammad Amjad Rafiq, Justice Abid Hussain Chatha, Justice Anwar Hussain, Justice Ali Zia Bajwa, Justice Sultan Tanveer, Justice Muhammad Raza Qureshi and Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh.
