ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital police apprehended nine criminals and recovered sheeshah and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, Islamabad capital police intensified crackdown against criminal elements in order to eliminate the criminal elements from this city.
Following these directives, the Kohsar police team arrested an accused namely Mujtaba Ghalib and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Karachi Company police team arrested an accused namely Ehsan Ullah and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from his possession. Similarly Ramna police arrested an accused namely Imran Ali and recovered one gun along with ammunition from his possession. Likewise, Shalimar police arrested four accused namely Awais Ahmed, Muhammad Zaki, Abdul Rehman, Malik Jawad and recovered hookahs and flavor from their possession. Moreover, Noon police arrested an accused namely Haseeb Jamal involved in illegal gas filling. Shahzad Town police arrested an accused namely Abdul Jabbar and recovered one pistol along with ammunition from his possession.
