ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police Khanna Police team reunited 11-years old missing boy with his family, a Police Public Relation Officer said.
According to details, a citizen namely Javed Masih resident of Iqbal Town informed Khanna police that his 11-years old son Salman had been missing and could not be traced despite hectic efforts by family members.
Upon receiving the application Khanna police immediately registered the FIR No 1035 dated 03.12.2022 U/S 364-A.
Following this information, DPO (Rural- Zone) constituted a special team under supervision of SDPO Shahzad Town to trace the missing boy.
This team including SHO Khanna police station searched various under construction buildings, houses and garbage heaps. Various people were inquired about the missing boy and finally the police team succeeded to recover him safely following which he was reunited with his parents.
The family has thanked the police team over the safe recovery of the boy.
IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan said that, safety of lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no stone would be unturned to secure the city.
