ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesman has strongly condemned the recent raids and airstrikes conducted by Israeli occupation forces in Jenin, located in the occupied Palestinian territory of the West Bank. The military operations have resulted in the loss of 10 Palestinian lives and left approximately 50 others injured. Pakistan calls for an immediate cessation of these acts of violence against the Palestinian people.
Pakistan urges the international community to fulfill its responsibility in putting an end to the brutal and unlawful actions carried out by the Israeli occupation forces. Additionally, Pakistan emphasizes the need to protect the human rights of the Palestinian people.
The press release reiterates Pakistan’s unwavering support for the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people in their pursuit of full realization of their rights and freedoms, including their right to self-determination. Pakistan also restates its call for the establishment of a viable, independent, and contiguous Palestinian State, with borders based on the pre-1967 lines and with Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) as its capital. These positions align with relevant resolutions of the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs encourages the international community to take immediate action to address the grave situation in Jenin and ensure justice and security for the Palestinian people. Pakistan remains committed to supporting the cause of Palestine and advocating for a peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
