ISLAMABAD: In a significant development, Mr. Sardar KHÄÑ Zimri, a distinguished Grade 19 officer of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), has been appointed as the Director General (DG) of the Water Management Wing. The decision, announced on Wednesday, marks a pivotal step in the management of water resources within the city.
The announcement was made through an official notification issued by the Human Resource Directorate of the CDA. The notification detailed that Mr. Sardar KHÄÑ Zimri, who previously held the position of Deputy DG in the Water Supply Directorate, would now take charge of the DG Water Management Wing on a look-after basis. As a result of this new appointment, he was relieved from his previous role as DDG of the Water Management Wing.
Mr. Zimri’s credentials and dedication to his work have earned him recognition as one of the most experienced and devoted officers within the civic body. His impressive career trajectory within the CDA included serving in various capacities, showcasing his commitment to public service and professional excellence. Before being promoted to the role of DDG of Water Management, he held noteworthy positions such as Director of Sanitation and Director of Water Supply.
