ISLAMABAD (Staff Reporter) Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Captain (Rtd) Anwarul Haque on Thursday in Sector 2/D-12 Green Belt under the management of Saya Foundation in collaboration with Mari Petroleum. Participated in plantation campaign with school children. This plantation campaign organized on Thursday was organized by the Department of Environment (Environment) of Capital Development Authority in collaboration with Mari Petroleum Company. 2000 saplings including pelican, arjun and sikh chin will be planted on the belts. It should be noted that 8 to 10 feet larger saplings than the planted saplings have been planted to ensure their growth. The management of Mari Petroleum along with the children of Saya School also participated in this plantation campaign. On this occasion, Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Captain (Rtd) Anwar-ul-Haq said that environment-friendly measures are being taken with the cooperation of private sectors. He further said that it is very welcome for the private sector to actively participate in environment-friendly activities in Islamabad.
