Special orders of IG Islamabad, police crackdown on drug dealers continues

Islamabad  In the light of the special orders of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police is conducting a full crackdown against drug dealers and criminal elements. In the light of these orders, the police teams arrested 23 criminal elements including 13 notorious criminals involved in drug selling and other crimes during the last 24 hours and recovered drugs, arms and ammunition from their possession. Shamshir Khan was arrested and one thirty bore pistol was recovered from his possession, Sabzi Mandi police arrested the accused Mohabbate Khan and recovered one thirty bore pistol from his possession, Phalgran police arrested the accused Ghulam Abbas. Iron mace was arrested and recovered, Nellore police station arrested accused Aziz Khan and recovered one thirty-bore pistol, Karachi company police arrested accused Arsalan and recovered four bottles of liquor, Sabzi Mandi police station arrested accused Ehsan Ali was arrested and 125 grams of heroin was recovered, Karpa police team arrested accused Muhammad Younis and recovered 520 grams of hashish, Phalgaran police team arrested two accused Muhammad Azim and Muhammad Ijaz and recovered 423 grams of heroin. Further investigations will be started by registering cases against them in different police stations, while 13 criminals were arrested during a special campaign launched to arrest criminals, fugitives and former criminals. DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza said that the Islamabad Police will bring to justice those involved in nefarious businesses such as drug and alcohol sales and possession of illegal weapons.
