Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is continuously working for the best health welfare of the police force and their families. As part of ongoing initiatives, IG Punjab has released additional funds of PKR 2.15 million for the treatment of children of police employees posted in various districts, including Lahore, who are suffering from serious illnesses.According to the details Constable Khadim Hussain of Dera Ghazi Khan received PKR 1 million for a bone marrow operation for his 3-year-old son. ASI Agha Baqir of Rahim Yar Khan received PKR 300,000 for heart surgery for his 5-year-old son. Driver Constable Safdar Hussain received PKR 250,000 for the treatment of his 12-year-old daughter’s blood cancer. Constable Muhammad Aman ullah of Khushab received PKR 250,000 for major surgery for his 5-year-old son. Constable Muhammad Abbas of Okara received PKR 250,000 for the treatment of his 4-year-old daughter Anaya Abbas’s blood cancer. Family of Constable Shehbaz Mansoor (late) of Lahore Police received PKR 100,000 for an eye operation for his son Arman Mansoor. These funds were issued after a meeting and scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Earlier this year, more than PKR 220 million has been provided for medical expenses for the children of police employees under the hamaray phool Project. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar stated that Punjab Police is a family, and efforts for the best health and education welfare of the children will continue.
