ISLAMABAD (Dateline News) – The United Nations has revealed in its latest report that Pakistan is under grave threat of terrorism posed by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).According to the UN report, Pakistan faced threats from the extremists having a back of TTP and hiding in Afghanistan. It has also been revealed that the TTP has increased the frequency of attacks in Pakistan. The UN has underscored the increased support and collaboration between TTP and Taliban, and Al-Qaeda, sharing manpower and training camps in Afghanistan. They, in collaboration had launched lethal attacks under the banner of Tehreek-e-Jihad Pakistan (TJP).It quoted a number of UN member states as claiming that Abu Ikhlas-al Masri, an Al-Qaeda figure, was actively working with Jamaat-ul-Ahrar to train TTP suicide bombers in Kunar Province. Two states held TTP accountable for the attack on Chinese nationals on March 26 while they were working on a hydropower dam project near Besham in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.Pakistan had continuously informed the world community to the security threat posed by terrorists affiliated with the TTP, who it claimed also had external backing.
