Islamabad The 23rd Summer Camp of Islamabad Police has concluded. In the summer camp, training was given including swimming, physical exercises, archery, martial arts, first aid and self-defense training exercises. To promote, strengthen public relations and reduce the distance between the police and citizens. According to the details, on the special orders of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to promote community policing, to increase the atmosphere of self-confidence between the police and the public. Various activities involving public representation are continuing for the 23rd Summer Camp of Islamabad Police has come to an end. Children participating in the summer camp along with police officers and their families were present. On the occasion, the senior police officer said that the summer camp is a part of community policing in which children are taught first aid, swimming and self-defense for a period of one month. Training exercises are given, apart from physical exercises, archery, martial arts are an important part of it, all these activities are done on a non-profit basis and all the expenses are borne by the participants themselves, 04 to 14 years in summer school. children participate and its aim is to equip the children with positive and constructive skills, he added that the Islamabad Police started the summer camp in 2002 and has successfully organized 23 summer camps so far.
