KARACHI: In a significant development in Sindh’s political landscape, two prominent spiritual leaders have initiated a dialogue on Sunday. Makhdoom Jameeluzaman, the spiritual head of the Sarwari Jamaat, and Pir Pagara, the spiritual leader of the Hurriyat, have been in touch recently. Sources indicate that the two leaders communicated via telephone to inquire about each other’s health.During their conversation, Makhdoom Jameeluzaman and Pir Pagara also addressed the current national political climate. According to sources, their discussion extended to the worsening situation in Sindh, which has seen a rise in lawlessness and instability. The deteriorating law and order conditions and the broader socio-economic issues affecting the province were also on the agenda. The leaders focused on the challenges facing Sindh, including its political and economic stagnation, and explored potential solutions for the province’s advancement and prosperity. The dialogue suggests a mutual interest in addressing these pressing issues collaboratively.Looking ahead, it is anticipated that a face-to-face meeting between the two spiritual leaders will be scheduled in the near future. Prior to this meeting, there is also an agreement to consult with other key stakeholders and colleagues in Sindh. The discussions were confirmed by sources from Nadeem Makhdoom House, who indicated that efforts are underway to engage with other regional leaders to further the agenda of improving Sindh’s situation.
