Islamabad : Giving priority to women in educational institutions is the first priority of the government of Pakistan and women are an important part of this society and measures for their education and training is the mission of the Higher Education Commission. Gerald Frank, Regional English Language Officer of the American Embassy, said that Pakistan is the only country in 80 countries whose 27 thousand students have received this scholarship. He said that Allama Iqbal Open University 250 new students have been admitted from three districts of Pakistan (Mianwali, Bhakkar and Attock). He said that under this program, students will not only master the English language, but also develop critical thinking, digital literacy and the world.
