LAHORE: Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz has formally approved the establishment of three authorities in the province.Punjab Development Authority, Punjab Water and Sanitation Authority and Punjab Horticulture Authority would be established in the province.Provincial authorities would devise policy and plan. Formal legislation would be made for the establishment of authorities.Suggestions for governing board and director general for provincial authorities were also reviewed.Formation of management board and managing director on local level is being considered.Punjab CM had also directed to transfer the street lights into solar energy during the session.Provincial ministers, Bilal Yaseen, Zeeshan Rafique, chief secretary, principal secretary, relevant secretaries and other officials attended the session.Secretaries of Housing and Local Government joined the session through video link.
