Lahore:Following the directives of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police continues its targeted operations to apprehend and extradite dangerous fugitives and proclaimed offenders fleeing abroad. In a recent successful operation, Punjab Police Special Operations Cell and Interpol have successfully arrested two more dangerous criminals from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The arrests were made through a joint operation by the Punjab Police Special Operations Cell and Interpol. The proclaimed offenders arrested include Rizwan Shehzad, who had abducted and murdered a citizen in Sialkot two years ago, and Rana Afaq Ali, who was wanted by the Model Town Police Station in Burewala, Vehari, in connection with a robbery case. The Special Operations Cell, in close coordination with the UAE police, successfully apprehended both fugitives, who were then brought back to Lahore early this morning. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the police team, RPO Gujranwala, DPO Sialkot and Vehari for the successful operation.  He instructed that legal proceedings be completed swiftly so that both criminals face the appropriate punishment. He also emphasized the need to continue working with the FIA and Interpol to track down and apprehend other dangerous fugitives hiding abroad.
