Islamabad:DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza held an open court. After hearing the complaints of the citizens in the open court, he issued orders to the concerned officers and directed them to take legal action on the petitions and report back within the given time. According to the details, in the light of the special orders of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza held an open court in his office to ensure immediate redressal of the problems of the citizens. DIG Islamabad listened to the problems of the citizens and issued orders to the concerned officers to take legal action on the marked petitions and submit a report within the given time for their immediate resolution. DIG Islamabad said that our first responsibility is to solve all the problems on priority basis while protecting the lives and property of the citizens and taking care of their self-respect. Strict action will be taken against the officials involved in bribery or corruption and a zero tolerance policy will be adopted. To do this, all available resources should be utilized. He further said that holding open courts will also ensure self-accountability. Immediate resolution of citizens’ problems is the top priority. Every citizen has equal rights. Decisions will be made on merit on all applications. Protection of citizens’ lives, property and self-respect is paramount. On the special orders of the IG Islamabad, all officers of the Operations Division are holding open courts on a daily basis.
