Lahore, :Additional Inspector General (IG) Special Branch Punjab, Zulfiqar Hameed, has been appointed as the Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). On this occasion, Inspector General Punjab Police, Dr Usman Anwar, visited Roberts Club at the Special Branch Headquarters to meet Zulfiqar Hameed, congratulate him on his new assignment, and extend his best wishes.
During the meeting, Dr Usman Anwar commended Zulfiqar Hameed’s outstanding services as the head of the Special Branch Punjab. He acknowledged his significant contributions to infrastructure development, the introduction of paperless working and the implementation of modern reforms. The IG Punjab presented a bouquet to Zulfiqar Hameed.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, senior officers of the Special Branch also presented bouquets, souvenirs, and gifts to Mr Hameed in recognition of his dedicated service.
The event was attended by DIG Security & Admin Syed Khurram Ali Shah, DIG Intelligence Faisal Ali Raja, DIG VIP Security Touseef Haider, SSP Headquarters Muaz Zafar and other senior officers.
