PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed has assumed charge of the post. A smart and well-dressed contingent saluted the IG Police at the Central Police Office.
The new IG Police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed arrived at the Central Police Office Peshawar. A smart and well-dressed contingent of police saluted the IG Police. IG KP laid flowers at the memorial of police martyrs at the Central Police Office.
IG Zulfiqar Hameed, while addressing the police officers, said that the KP Police fought against terrorism with courage and bravery. The whole world recognizes the sacrifices of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.
Zulfiqar Hameed further said that we will continue to perform our duties as an act of worship until terrorism is eradicated.

Zulfiqar Hameed has worked in various positions from SP to DIG and has had a long and successful career in the police service. Zulfiqar Hameed has also served in various important positions in Punjab and Balochistan.
Zulfiqar Hameed has played an important role in the rule of law and the establishment of law and order. Based on his professional experience, he has been entrusted with the post of Police Chief of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. With his appointment, it is hoped that he will take important steps to further stabilize the law and order situation in the province and reform the police institution.
