IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar: ensuring best Health welfare of ghazi personnel injured in the line of duty

Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to providing the best treatment to Ghazi personnel injured in the line of duty, in continuation of which an additional 2.65 million rupees has been issued to pay for the medical expenses of injured personnel from various districts including Lahore. While giving details, the spokesperson of Punjab Police said that Rs. 1 million was given to the injured Head Constable Ateeq Ahmad for medical expenses.  05 lakh rupees was released to the injured Constable Naeem Maqbool and injured Constable Aamir Shahzad each for medical expenses. Injured Head Constable Ali Ahmed was given Rs 2.5 lakh for medical expenses. Injured Constable Ahmad Khan and Constable Sibghat Ullah were given Rs 2 lakh each for medical expenses. Spokesperson for Punjab Police said that officers and personnel were injured during various incidents in the line of duty. The Compensation Award Committee, chaired by Additional IG Welfare Imran Irshad, approved the release of funds. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the best treatment and early rehabilitation of police veterans is the top priority and all possible cooperation will continue. IG Punjab, while instructing the supervisory officers, said that no effort should be spared for the best health welfare of ghazi personnel.
