Lahore:The encouragement of police officers and personnel demonstrating outstanding performance in crime eradication continues in Punjab Police. As part of this initiative, Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has issued orders for cash rewards amounting to 3.44 million rupees and commendation certificates for 172 more officers and personnel. According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the officers and personnel were awarded cash prizes of 20,000 rupees each along with commendation certificates. Among the award recipients are 1 Inspector, 3 Sub-Inspectors, and 9 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs). Similarly, 30 Head Constables and 129 Constables have also been honored with cash rewards and commendation certificates. IGP Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the officers and personnel performed their duties commendably in maintaining law and order and protecting the lives and property of citizens. IG Punjab further said that dutiful and courageous officers and personnel, imbued with the spirit of public service, are a valuable asset to Punjab Police.
