ISLAMABAD:Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan on Wednesday visited various locations across the city to review security arrangements and encourage officers on duty.An official told APP that the visit was part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order in the federal capital. The officers met with Islamabad Police personnel, including female officers and those from other law enforcement agencies, and appreciated their dedication and performance. They said Islamabad Police remains fully prepared to tackle any situation and will not allow any disruption to the peace and security of the city. “Regardless of the circumstances, we must always be ready to act lawfully and decisively,” DIG Jawad Tariq emphasized.
DIG Tariq said all officers have been directed to brief their teams regularly and personally inspect duty deployments. “Personnel must be equipped with complete gear and deployed strategically,” he added.
DIG Tariq said senior officers should frequently visit different areas of the city to ensure implementation of these directives and maintain a strong presence to safeguard the lives and property of citizens as well as public and private assets.
