Lahore:Punjab Police have intensified Intelligence-based operations against Kacha criminals, As part of these continued efforts, 14 dacoits have been neutralized and 13 arrested this year in actions against Kacha criminals. Punjab Police Spokesperson, while sharing details, said that 10 attacks by Kacha dacoits were foiled and 17 abductees were recovered. During these operations against dacoits, 01 police personnel was martyred.Punjab Police Spokesperson further shared that during police operations in Kacha areas last year, 40 dacoits were eliminated and 68 were injured. A total of 45 attacks by dacoits were foiled, and 29 abductees were recovered. During last year’s Kacha operations, 18 police personnel were martyred and 13 were injured.IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police will not rest until the Kacha area is completely cleared of dacoits and miscreants. He further added that the Chief Minister of Punjab has provided substantial resources to secure and strengthen the police stations and check posts in the Kacha area.
