ISLAMABAD :The meeting chaired by IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi discussed important issues like overall law and order situation, crime prevention, prompt redressal of public complaints and effective community policing. According to details, a high-level meeting was held at the Central Police Office Islamabad under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, in which all DIGs, SSPs and SPs participated. The meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation in the federal capital Islamabad. He issued instructions to all officers to ensure peace, protection of lives and property of citizens and prevention of miscreants. In the meeting, the Federal The steps taken to prevent crime and suppress criminal elements in the capital were also reviewed. In the light of the instructions of the IG Islamabad, the Islamabad Police is conducting a full-scale crackdown against criminal elements in the federal capital. A full-scale crackdown is being carried out against drug dealers, bandits, dacoits, suspects involved in car and motorcycle theft and their facilitators across the city. The IG Islamabad also issued instructions to all officers to resolve the problems of the public on a priority basis and ensure immediate redressal of public complaints and ensure effective community policing. He said that all officers should play their full role in improving the overall performance of the police force and ensuring modern and people-friendly policies. He termed teamwork, transparency and public trust as the real strength of the institution. He further said that the Islamabad Police is engaged in serving the public with determination, sense of duty and professionalism.
