Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed to ensuring the best health welfare for the children of police employees, and in continuation of this, Rs. 2,722,000 has been released for the treatment of employees’ children suffering from serious illnesses across the province. The spokesperson for Punjab Police, while sharing details, shared that Constable Muhammad Irfan was approved Rs. 1,660,000 for his son’s cochlear implant surgery. Constable Muhammad Sarwar for his son’s leg surgery, Constable Muhammad Ramzan for his son’s liver treatment, and Head Constable Asim Shahzad for his daughter’s cancer treatment were each provided Rs. 250,000. Driver Constable Kamran Hussain and Constable Abid Hussain were each provided Rs. 100,000 for their children’s treatment. Constable Muhammad Rafiq and EDC Operator Muhammad Arif were approved a total of Rs. 112,000 for the treatment of their children. IG Punjab released the above-mentioned funds after scrutiny and approval by the Welfare Management Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the best welfare of the families of employees engaged in protecting the lives and properties of citizens is a top priority.
