GUJRAT, Sep 02 (NNI): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Irman Khan has said that you (the rulers) cannot win this match, no matter whatever they do.
Addressing a mammoth public gathering on Friday, he said that consciousness comes first in the nation and then revolution.
Imran Khan has said that those who used to criticize his government for bowing down before the International Monetary Fund (IMF), have now themselves kowtowed before the international lender. He said that we have to respect ourselves if we want the world to respect us.
“A sovereign nation never begs. We will have to rectify the justice system first of all. Imran Khan is unacceptable as he says ‘absolutely not’. He wanted to formulate an independent foreign policy for his people,” he maintained.
The PTI chairman said that he feared the imported government might push the nation into another war. “Why should we not purchase the cheap oil being given to us at 40 percent less rate?” he questioned.
He said that former president Pervez Musharraf had jailed him during the movement for restoration of judges. “Who will protect the rights of the masses if there will be no strong judiciary?” he added.
“Today’s rally has broken all previous records of rallies held in Gujrat,” he said and also mentioned the increasing diesel price. When my government was toppled through conspiracy, the prices of petrol was Rs150 and diesel Rs145, he said adding that he was trying to wake the nation up.
The former PM went on say that the people of Gujrat have strong political awareness and urged the youth to set the highest targets and aims and see the biggest dreams in their lives as this thought would bring them to the highest place in the world.
Khan maintained that Pakistani youth had always gained respect and honour in the world due to their talent and hardworking.
