Okara : A junior clerk posted in the Deputy Commissioner Office, Okara, was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe. The Anti-Corruption Punjab team arrested Zeeshan, a junior clerk posted in the DC Office, while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000, a video of which has also been released. In the video, it can be seen that the clerk is accepting a bribe from a citizen in the DC Office itself. According to the FIR, Junior Clerk Zeeshan allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 70,000 from the citizen to get the map passed. The matter was settled for Rs 50,000, and the accused was arrested red-handed while accepting a bribe.
