Islamabad:According to details, Islamabad Police are conducting an effective crackdown across the federal capital to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property by curbing crime and apprehending criminal elements.In this regard, police teams from the Ramna, Sangjani, Khanna, Kirpa and Lohi Bher police stations arrested six accused and recovered 1,548 gram Ice and one pistol with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the suspects, and further investigations are underway.Additionally, during a special campaign to apprehend absconders and proclaimed offenders, sixteen more criminals were arrested.SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan, stated that Islamabad Police are continuously working to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital. “No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city,” he said, adding that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of Islamabad Police.He urged the public to immediately report any suspicious activity to the relevant police station or via the emergency helpline “Pukar-15”, so that, through mutual cooperation between the police and the community, the city can be made crime-free.
