PPSC declares 47 candidates successful in PMS exams

LAHORE: The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced the final results of Punjab’s biggest competitive examination — the Provincial Management Service (PMS).According to a notification issued by Secretary PPSC Afzal Ahmed, the final results for 67 PMS posts were released following the approval of Chairman Lt. Gen. (retd) Muhammad Abdul Aziz. A total of 47 candidates were declared successful in the competitive process.Deputy Director Media Syed Kazim Muqaddas Kazmi said the successful candidates include Safiullah Tariq, Syed Ahsan Abdullah, Fatima Akbar, Muqaddas Fatima, Fatima Khalid, Shah Nawaz, Humna Ashraf, Umair Aslam, Rida Ahmed, Mushkat Mubashir, and Yusra Tariq, among others.Eight candidates were selected for the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, namely Ali Ehtesham Malik, Javeria Younis, Badruddin Shahryar, Hafsa Iqbal, Ahmed Waqas Zafar, Huma Anjum, Sajid Rahim, and Ahmed Raza.The PPSC notification further stated that 12 posts reserved under the minority quota remained vacant due to the unavailability of eligible non-Muslim candidates.
The complete list of successful candidates has been uploaded on the official website of the Punjab Public Service Commission.
