Lahore :Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem held a meeting with police personnel and their family members at the Central Police Office. The IG Punjab listened to their concerns and issued directions to the relevant officers to ensure immediate relief. According to details, on the request of Constable Muhammad Aamir for cancellation of his transfer, the IG Punjab directed the DIG Establishment-II to take necessary action. On the recruitment request of the nephew of Shaheed Head Constable Muhammad Ashraf, instructions were issued to the Additional IG Punjab to examine the matter. On the request of the father of late Constable Muhammad Nadeem regarding the recruitment of his son, the Additional IG Punjab was directed to provide relief.Similarly, on the request submitted by the sister of late Constable Muhammad Nadeem to declare her brother as a martyr, directions were issued to the Additional IG Punjab for appropriate relief. On the recruitment request of the son of Driver Constable Munawar Hayat, the Additional IG Punjab was also instructed to provide relief. On the leave request of DSP Ehsan Ashraf, the Additional IG Punjab was directed to take necessary action and grant relief. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem, while issuing orders on other applications related to discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare, stated that the welfare of Punjab Police employees and their families remains his top priority and that timely and effective resolution of their issues will be ensured.
