QUETTA, Aug 28 (NNI): The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has announced that the internet services in Quetta city have been restored and the authority is working to restore the connectivity in other affected areas.
Sharing the news on its Twitter handle on Sunday, the PTA wrote: “Telenor, Zong, Ufone and all other internet services have been restored in Quetta city. “Apart from this, steps are being taken to restore services in other affected areas.”
Due to heavy rains and floods, the PTCL’s optical fiber cable was experiencing technical fault and the internet users in the Northern and Central regions were facing internet outages. The authority said that its teams were working hard to restore the services. NNI
