Hyderabad: Dr. Aijaz Ali Khooharo, Senior Dean and Professor, Faculty of Agricultural Social Sciences, Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) has said that there is no way except to improve education for the development of the country, economic improvement, and reduction of poverty, while in developed countries, positive awareness work is done by students.Addressing the students during a popular lecture at the Bukhari Model High School run by the University Dr. Aijaz Ali Khoharo said that the region we belong to is facing various challenges including poverty, environmental pollution, climate change, peace and order, therefore, we have to develop a well-trained workforce, for which their basic education should be better, while our education system should include world-class social, economic, scientific and historical contexts.He emphasized that students need to focus more on experiences, as the world has moved towards privatization and commercialization and e-business, we have to incorporate modern methods into our education, experiments for our children, and more attention should be given to basic education.He said that in the practical field now he will be considered successful; who will advance his life based on the topics included in his education and will value time, so we will have to change our education and prove our abilities through hard work.He said that Pakistan is an agricultural country, Sindh Agriculture University is engaged in new experiments and high academic activities on agriculture, and agricultural development is the guarantee of the development of common people, while better education can provide this country with the best experts, doctors, engineers, IT experts, business management, agricultural, veterinary experts and trained manpower in every field.Dr. Aijaz Ali Khooharo informed the students about his life, education, and the journey of reaching this position and successful life.Dr. Mehmood-ul-Hassan Mughal, Chairman of the School Management Committee, and Principal Madam Zahra also spoke on this occasion, while the students participated in a question and answer session.
