ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has made the distance to the idea of giving an extension to Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa again.
Talking to newsmen after her court appearance in Islamabad and answering different questions related to Army Chief General Bajwa’s extension, she reiterated her stance that she would not involve in this sin.
Maryam was asked by a journalist that in the past, she had told the media that she was not a part of the sin of giving [first] extension to General Bajwa.
The journalist further questioned whether she shall be a part of the same sin again if the sitting government gives an extension to General Bajwa.
Replying to it, Maryam said she would not like to give the answer to this question before the proper time but she was determined that she is sticking with her principle stance [of not giving an extension to Gen Bajwa].
