18 criminals held; drugs and weapons recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital police apprehended 18 criminals including drug peddlers involved in illegal activities and recovered drugs, liquor and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.
He said that DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha had ordered all zonal officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in looting innocent people.
Following these directives, Aabpara police team apprehended an accused namely Furqan Habib and recovered one 9mm pistol with ammunition from their possession. Bhara Kahu police arrested a drug peddlers namely Muhammad Shahbaz and recovered 1320 gram hashish from his possession.
Similarly, Phulghran police team arrested a drug peddler namely Muhammad Shahzaib and recovered 1880 gram hashish from his possession. Golra police arrested three drug peddlers namely Ubaid, Hameed and Adnan and recovered 785 gram hashish from his possession.
Moreover, Koral police arrested two accused namely Usman and Waqar involved in illegal gasoline business. Nilore police arrested 03 accused namely Saraj, Khaysta Khan and Fazal Ur Rehman and recovered three 30 bore pistols along with ammunition from their possession.
