Police arrested bootlegger; cache of drug and liquor recovered

ISLAMABAD, Oct 01 (NNI): Islamabad capital police PS Abpara team arrested notorious drug-seller Rehmat Masih as it continued its crackdown against the outlaws, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directions of DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha, the Abpara police team busted an accused namely Rehmat Masih involved in drug peddling and bootlegging. Police team also recovered 1104 gram hashish and 20 liters liquor from his possession.
The accused have previous criminal record also and has been booked in 18 different bootlegging cases in different police stations.
DIG Operations has appreciated the police performance. He emphasized that Islamabad Police will not leave any stone unturned to curb the menace of drugs. “No one would be allowed to play with the precious lives of our young generation” he added.
