ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory Police has conducted a mock exercise at D-Chowk to deal with any possible law and order situation as well as to protect life and property of the residents.
In mock exercise, Lady Police, Drill Staff of all Divisions along with Anti Riot Kit, Police vehicles, Ambulance and water cannon participated.
According to the details, on the instructions of the Federal Minister of Interior Rana Sana Ullah Khan, a joint anti-riot exercise of Islamabad Police and FC has been started in order to maintain the law and order situation in the federal capital.
In this regard Islamabad Capital Police is being transformed on modern technology to combat harsh situations.
The purpose of this exercise is to boost morale of police officials and ensure the security of Islamabad citizens as well as police officials and special measures are being taken in this regard.
