RAWALPINDI: Punjab Arts Council holds Speech and Naat competitions in collaboration with All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association in connection with Ashra Shan-e-Rehmatulil Almeen.
Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmed was the chief guest of the prize distribution ceremony. While addressing the ceremony Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmad said that love for Holy Prophet is a part of our faith.
The Holy Prophet came as the mercy to the whole world. We should try to make your every action according to the Quran and Sunnah, it will not only give us success in this worldly life but also in the Hereafter.
President of APPSMA, Muhammad Ibrar said that Rabi al-Awwal is the spring of good deeds. The Holy Prophet has taught the Muslim Ummah to respect humanity. Your good deeds are the guarantee of success.
The darkness of ignorance and despair was dispelled by the arrival of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) in the world, the candles of peace, love, brotherhood and light were lit everywhere.
Ali Awan won the first position, Saima Noor second position, Zainab Gul third position and Pakeeza took fourth position, while Muhammad Shahid Jameel Minhas and Faizan Qadri were the judges in the Naat Khoani competition.
Hasan Aslam, Manahil , Sadia Farooq and Momina came first, second, third and fourth respectively in the speech competition.
A large number of male and female students from Rawalpindi, Islamabad participated in the competition. Shields and certificates were also distributed among the children who got positions.
