ISLAMABAD: Soon after a continuous rise in the value of the dollar and dirham against Pakistani currency, the prices of gold also shot up in the local market on Wednesday.
The price of 24 karats of pure gold is increased by Rs1,350 per tola to Rs1,50400 per tola.
The rates of 10 grams of gold of 24 karats also increased by Rs1,158 to Rs1,28,944 while the prices of silver remained stable at Rs1,590 per tola.
It is worth mentioning that the prices of gold in the international market are on the way to decreasing and on Wednesday it has been fell by US$18 per ounce to US$1,635 per ounce. PNP
