WAZIRABAD, Nov 03 (NNI): Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and other party leaders including Senator Faisal Javed were wounded while one died after gunshots fired at the long march container.
According to the details, the firing incident happened during the long march reception camp at Allahwala Chowk in Wazirabad.
District police officer Ghazanfar Ali said one person was killed and ten others were wounded in the attack.
The PTI Chairman received a bullet in his leg and he was rushed away from the gathering to a hospital on a stretcher with strict security cordon laid around him.
Later on he was rushed to Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore.
Doctor Faisal Sultan of Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore Thursday evening declared the condition of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan out of danger.
Dr Faisal Sultan has confirmed that Imran Khan got some fragments of a bullet in his right leg.
Dr Faisal Sultan also said that they have done the MRI and CT Scan of Imran Khan and his condition is out of danger.

Wazirabad: PTI Senator Faisal Javed who was injured during attack on Imran Khan’s container.

Moreover, one person got killed and seven others were injured including the close aide of PTI chief Senator Faisal Javaid, Imran Ismael, Ahmad Chattha and Imran Yousaf, said the SHO of the area who also claimed that police have arrested the culprit.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar Thursday in the Long March gave the details of the attempt on life at PTI chairman Imran Khan. He said that Imran Khan has been shot in the leg but is stable at the moment. The management and the party leadership has decided to take him to Lahore for first aid and treatment.
He further said that six people were injured due to firing including Ahmad Chattha being the most seriously injured. He said Farooq Mayer was bleeding excessively while Faisal Javed’s face was grazed by the bullet.
A worker in the office Rashid also got hit while Imran Ismail also got grazed on the leg by the bullet and one or two others also got injured.
PTI leader Umar said that he was near the container but downstairs. He heard the firing and then the commotion ensued but the people present on the container saw it all and even saw the culprit that fired the gun. He said that Imran Khan is changing Pakistan before everyone’s eyes and now the resistance don’t have any way other than doing heinous acts like these. His bullet injury is not negligible but also not that critical.
PTI leader Hammad Azhar has said that party member Ahmad Chattha was injured by two gunshots during an attack on Imran’s convoy during the long march in Wazirabad today.
“He [Chattha] is out of danger,” Azhar said, adding that the wounds were not deep and he was being operated upon to remove the bullets. NNI
