Islamabad: Mr. Pablo Tettamanti Vice Foreign Minister of Republic of Argentina along with Ambassador of Argentina called on Mr. Zahid Akram Durrani in Parliament House Islamabad today. Deputy Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani has said that Pakistan is a land of opportunities for trade and economic activities. He invited Argentina traders and Businessmen to explore increase investment opportunities. He also said that Pakistan is a gateway of trade and connectivity especially for land locked Central Asian Nations. He said that Pakistan is also blessed with deep Sea port Gwadar which can connect the number of regional countries for mutual progress and development.
While talking about vast tourism potential in the country, NA Deputy Speaker Mr. Zahid Akram Durrani has said that Pakistan has been blessed with all kinds of natural resources and natural sceneries. He said that although Pakistan has been facing the worst impacts of devastating floods yet Pakistani people are resolute enough to get out of this Challenge.
Convener Pakistan- Argentina Parliamentary Friendship Group MNA Dr . Muhammad Afzal Dhandla Stressed on the need to enhance Parliamentry cooperation between both countries. He said that parliament to Parliament contacts are pivotal for progress and development of both countries. MNA Mr.Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti was also present in the meeting. He said that Population in Pakistan comprises of youth and Countries like Argentina can take benefit from skilled Youth.
Mr. Pablo Tettamanti Vice Foreign Minister of Republic of Argentina appreciated the warm welcome in Pakistan. He also praised the beautiful weather and abundance of natural beauty in Pakistan. He expressed his solidarity with people of Pakistan as they have been facing devastating impacts of recent flash floods. He said that climate change is a global challenge and all countries of the world should unite together to tackle this challenge.
