ISLAMABAD: In a joint operation between the Excise and Taxation Department and the Islamabad Model Traffic Police, a crackdown was carried out on Trial 3 to address various traffic violations. Under the vigilant supervision of Director Bilal Azam Khan, the operation primarily targeted defaulters of token tax, vehicles with black tinted windows, and those displaying non-standard number plates.
Aiming to ensure compliance with traffic regulations and promote road safety, the authorities took swift and decisive action against the offenders. A total of 35 vehicles were flagged for violations during the operation.
The operation specifically focused on vehicles with black tinted windows, non-standard number plates, and individuals who failed to pay the required token tax. Immediate penalties were issued to the defaulters, and their vehicle files were promptly blocked in the Excise system.
Director Bilal Azam Khan expressed his satisfaction with the collaborative efforts between the Excise and Taxation Department and the Model Traffic Police, emphasizing the importance of enforcing traffic laws to maintain order on the roads. The operation served as a strong reminder that traffic violations will not be tolerated, and necessary measures will be taken to ensure compliance.
By conducting such operations, the authorities are taking significant steps towards creating a safer and more regulated traffic environment in Islamabad. This joint effort demonstrates their commitment to upholding the law and safeguarding the well-being of the citizens.
As the Excise and Taxation Department and the Model Traffic Police continue to work hand in hand, it is expected that similar initiatives will be carried out in the future to curb traffic violations and promote responsible driving practices across the city.
