ATTOCK: The female supporters would play their role on the front line on polling day and would not allow any one to hijack the polling process. This was stated by Syeda Sadaf Zehra – incharge women electioneering wing of PTI candidate Syed Ijaz Boukhari from PP- 3, Attock while addressing the female polling agents on Tuesday. She said that the female polling agents should not pay heed to the rumours that the PTI polling agents would be picked by police or harassed by the polling agents of the other political parties. She said that it is the responsibility of the election commission and concerning returning officers to conduct polling in a free, fair and transparent atmosphere. She was of the view that the women supporters of the PTI in rural as well as urban areas would play a key role in shaping the results of the polling day. She told the female political workers that threats, harassment and victimization would not dent their morale and female supporters would play a key role on the political front enabling the PTI candidates to defeat their rivals.
