ISLAMABAD: Addressing the nation Saturday, the Caretaker Prime Minister underscored the significance of the recently concluded General Elections as a pivotal moment for Pakistan’s democratic journey. In a comprehensive statement, the PM articulated key principles and imperatives guiding the nation through the post-election period.
The PM commended the notable turnout from diverse segments of society, lauding the participation of both genders and highlighting international recognition of Pakistan’s democratic progress. Emphasizing the fundamental nature of democratic processes, the PM urged all stakeholders to embrace the essence of electoral competition, acknowledging victory and defeat as intrinsic elements of the democratic framework.
In response to concerns regarding electoral irregularities, the PM advocated for the pursuit of legal recourse through established channels, affirming the robustness of Pakistan’s institutional mechanisms to deliver impartial justice.
