Pakistan condemns Israeli military aggression against Lebanon

ISLAMABAD: Recent reports indicate a concerning trend as terrorism and public killings escalate along India’s borders, with Afghanistan now becoming a new theater for Indian state-sponsored terrorist activities. This expansion of Indian terrorism raises significant security concerns, not only for neighboring countries like Pakistan but also for Afghanistan and the broader region.
Sources reveal that following its presence in Pakistan, the Middle East, Europe, Canada and America, India’s footprint in terrorism is now visible in Afghanistan. This development underscores the global reach and threat posed by Indian extremist elements. In a significant breakthrough, Afghan authorities in Kandahar apprehended a suspected Indian terrorist affiliated with ISIS. Identified as hailing from Malappuram, Kerala, the arrest highlights the international collaboration needed to combat terrorism effectively, informed sources added.
The arrest of the Indian national, Sanaullah Kandahari, points to lapses in border security and the ease with which individuals can cross international boundaries to engage in terrorist activities. This raises questions about the effectiveness of border control measures in preventing the infiltration of extremist elements. The apprehended individual has been handed over to the General Directorate of Intelligence of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for further investigation. This collaboration underscores the importance of international cooperation in combating transnational terrorism. The arrest of Sanaullah adds to a series of incidents involving Indian nationals with ties to terrorist organizations like ISIS. Over the years, several Indian citizens have been arrested and eliminated for their involvement in extremist activities, highlighting a recurring pattern of Indian terrorism on foreign soil. The majority of Indian nationals involved in terrorism in Afghanistan hail from Kerala, India. This regional concentration underscores the need for targeted counter-terrorism efforts and heightened vigilance, particularly in areas with significant extremist The presence of Indian operatives targeting adversaries in countries like Pakistan, America, and Europe raises broader international security concerns. It highlights the need for enhanced intelligence-sharing mechanisms and coordinated efforts to dismantle transnational terrorist networks.
As Indian terrorism extends its reach into Afghanistan, it exacerbates existing security challenges and underscores the urgent need for collaborative counter-terrorism measures. Addressing the root causes of extremism and bolstering border security will be critical in mitigating the threat posed by Indian extremist elements not only to regional stability but also to global security.
