Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar continues to prioritize health welfare for police employees and their families. As part of this commitment, funds exceeding 2 million rupees have been released for the treatment of serious illnesses, including kidney transplants and cancer, for police personnel.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released funds for various medical treatments as follows. Sub-Inspector Mahboob Hussain from Vehari received 1 million rupees for a kidney transplant. 500,000 rupees were provided to the wife of the late ASI Abdul Ghaffar for cancer treatment. Constable Haris Saqib from Rawalpindi received 100,000 rupees for leg surgery. Head Constable Amir Ali Khan was granted 100,000 rupees for gallbladder surgery. Driver Constable Rashid Bashir Abbasi received 100,000 rupees for his wife’s treatment. Constable Sajjad Hussain from Lodhran was given 100,000 rupees for leg treatment. ASI Muhammad Tahir Islam and Head Constable Syed Nasir Abbas received 127,000 rupees for the treatment of various ailments. The Medical Grant for these cases was approved by a committee under the chairmanship of Additional IG Welfare & Finance. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has instructed the Welfare Branch to continue its efforts for the health welfare of the force. He emphasized that no police personnel or their families suffering from serious illnesses will be left alone.
