RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tuesday successfully conducted a training launch of the Shaheen-II, a surface-to-surface ballistic missile. The launch was part of a routine exercise aimed at training troops, validating various technical parameters, and evaluating the performance of different sub-systems incorporated for improved accuracy and enhanced survivability.
According to ISPR, senior officers from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Strategic Forces Command, along with scientists and engineers from strategic organizations, were present to witness the training launch.
The Director General of the Strategic Plans Division praised the technical prowess, dedication, and commitment of the scientists and engineers who contributed to this significant achievement. He acknowledged their continuous efforts to enhance Pakistan’s defense capabilities.
In response to the successful training launch, the President, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the Services Chiefs extended their congratulations to the scientists and engineers involved in the project, recognizing the importance of this milestone in ensuring the nation’s security and defense preparedness.
