Islamabad: In line with the directions of Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, an indiscriminate action is being taken across Islamabad to eliminate illegal constructions and encroachments in the city.
On Monday, under the guidance of Chairman CDA, the Enforcement Directorate conducted an operation in Sector I-15 with the support of the district administration and Islamabad Police. During the operation, 17 rooms, 6 kitchens, 4 bathrooms, 7 boundary walls, 3 walls, 3 gates, and 4 cattle enclosures were demolished using heavy machinery, and resultantly, a large portion of the government land was reclaimed.
Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, reiterated that indiscriminate actions against illegal constructions and encroachments would go on until the various parts of Islamabad are completely clear for encroachments. It is worth highlighting that for the past several months, the CDA has been actively conducting operations against all illegal constructions and encroachments, resulting in the recovery of government land worth billions of rupees from illegal occupants.
Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, directed that strict actions should be taken to remove encroachments on sector land as part of the anti-encroachment campaign. He emphasized the need to remove all obstacles hindering sector development and complete development projects as soon as possible. He further stated that strict actions against illegal constructions and encroachments should continue indiscriminately, not only in sectors but throughout the city, to ensure that Islamabad’s land is free from illegal constructions and encroachments.
