18-point agenda for today’s NA session issued

ISLAMABAD :The National Assembly session will be held today (Monday), after two days break, at the Parliament House at 2:00pm. Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq will preside over the session.

The National Assembly Secretariat has issued an 18-point agenda for today’s session.

Calling attention notice inviting attention of the minister for finance and revenue regarding hiring of firm named “McKinsey” for tax digitalization is part of agenda of today’s session.

Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan will introduce a bill to further amend the Anti-Dumping Duties Act, 2015 [The Anti-Dumping Duties (Amendment) Bill, 2025] and Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi will introduce a bill to further amend the Extradition Act, 1972 [The Extradition (Amendment) Bill, 2025].

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi will also lay before the National Assembly the Societies Registration (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 (No. XI of 2024), as required by clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Resolution to extend the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 (IX of 2024) and resolution to extend the Income Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 (X of 2024) will be presented in the session.

Chairman standing committee on narcotics control, chairman standing committee on parliamentary affairs, chairman standing committee on communications, chairman standing committee on information technology will present reports for the period 1st July, 2024 to 31st December, 2024 during the session.

Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb lay before the National Assembly the fiscal policy statement January, 2025, the debt policy statement January, 2025 and the performance monitoring report for the financial year 2023-24.

This House will also expresses its deep gratitude to the President Asif Ali Zardari for his address to both Houses assembled together on 10th March, 2025.
