ISLAMABAD :IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held a meeting with SSP Security and Chief Traffic Officer to discuss the current security situation, traffic management, public convenience and other important administrative matters in detail. IG Islamabad issued instructions to ensure professionalism in security matters and make the public-friendly traffic system more effective. According to details, Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an important meeting with SSP Security Muhammad Sarfraz Work and Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Captain (r) Syed Zeeshan Haider late last night. The meeting discussed the current security situation, traffic management, public convenience and other important administrative matters in detail. The IG Islamabad issued instructions to ensure professionalism in security matters, including responsibility, and to make the public-friendly traffic system more effective. On this occasion, he issued instructions to further improve the check-and-check arrangements at the entry points of the red zone and to ensure the security of important institutions, offices and embassies located in the red zone. He said that the surveillance of the entire federal capital, including the internal and external routes of the city, should be ensured through Safe City cameras. Along with this, a special review of the steps taken regarding traffic arrangements was also taken and measures were taken to protect the citizens of Islamabad from accidents, establish order on the road, ensure implementation of traffic rules and enforce traffic rules, especially the new ones. Special instructions were issued to make legal action against those violating serious traffic laws, including parking, speeding and encroachments, more stringent and effective. He added that ensuring the safety of lives and property of citizens and maintaining law and order in the federal capital, including an integrated traffic system, are among the top priorities of the Islamabad Police.
