Islamabad:An important meeting was held at the Traffic Headquarters Islamabad under the chairmanship of SP Traffic, to review special measures to ensure the restoration of an integrated traffic flow system in Islamabad and to keep citizens safe from accidents. According to the details, in the light of special orders from Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider, a meeting was held at the Islamabad Traffic Police Headquarters under the chairmanship of SP Traffic Majid Iqbal. Zonal DSPs and other police officers attended the meeting. The SP Traffic reviewed special measures to ensure the restoration of an integrated traffic flow system in the federal capital and to keep citizens safe from accidents. He issued special instructions to keep citizens safe from accidents in Islamabad, establish road discipline, ensure compliance with traffic laws and make legal actions against traffic violators more strict and effective. The SP Traffic said that the implementation of traffic laws should be ensured, officers should perform their duties with full honesty and diligence, negligence and negligence in duty Strict departmental action will be taken against the perpetrators, he added, adding that the Traffic Police Awareness Wing should provide awareness to the citizens on various highways about road safety and traffic rules. He added that the protection of lives and property of the citizens and the restoration of an integrated traffic system in the federal capital are among the top priorities of the Islamabad Police.
