Lahore:On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, a ceremony was held at the Central Police Office to honor officers and personnel who demonstrated exceptional performance. In the ceremony 09 police teams were awarded commendation certificates and cash prizes. Punjab Police spokesperson shared details that 20 officers and personnel were encouraged with cash prizes and commendation certificates for their outstanding performance against criminal and anti-social elements. The police teams brought criminals involved in serious incidents, including murder, attempted murder, and sexual assault, to justice.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that, considering the current national and border situation, the challenges faced by Punjab Police have increased. The brave personnel of Punjab Police are confronting the challenges of law and order, security, and terrorism. With the cooperation of the Pakistan Army, other institutions, and citizens, we will defeat the enemy’s malicious intentions. We are providing full security to national and foreign investments and projects to promote economic development. The operations conducted by officers and personnel against dangerous criminals are commendable. The process of encouraging officers and personnel with outstanding performance will continue. Among those who received awards are 02 Inspectors, 08 Sub-Inspectors, 04 ASIs, and 06 Constables. The ceremony was attended by Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Headquarters Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, DIG Welfare and Finance Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, and AIG Discipline, along with other officers.
